Invest in a surveillance camera system in crane enclosures (from breeding to egg incubation and release into the wild). Renovate and upgrade the existing semi-wild bird enclosure with an area of approximately 1,130m2.

Sarus Cranes at Tràm Chim National Park

To ensure favorable infrastructure conditions for the process of breeding, releasing, and monitoring cranes in their natural habitat. The following activities will be implemented:

  • Invest in a surveillance camera system in crane enclosures (from breeding to egg incubation and release into the wild);
  • Renovate and upgrade the existing semi-wild bird enclosure with an area of approximately 1,130m2;
  • Invest in expanding and building a new breeding and incubation area for cranes;
    • Level the ground;
    • Invest in earth filling and reinforcement to upgrade the flood dyke surrounding sub-zone A3;
    • Build crane enclosures;
  • Build a domestic wastewater treatment system with a capacity of 15m³/day;
  • Landscape with trees and internal roads covering approximately 13,276m2;
  • Install a power supply and public lighting system;
  • Invest in the construction of a new road connecting the provincial transportation system with the Conservation Breeding Center to link the Center located in sub-zone A3 (the Park's administrative and service area) with the urban bypass road currently being invested in by Tam Nong district.
